Ainsley's birthday always hits right at the beginning of the school year when it's still too crazy to have an in-class party. Because of that, her teachers decided to let her celebrate her birthday in the classroom this month to celebrate her half birthday. Ainsley couldn't have cared less - it was a party, and it was all about her.

The way they do birthdays is really cute. They put a sun in the middle of the floor and put the months of the year all the way around it. The light a candle in the center and the birthday girl walks around the sun once for each year they've been on earth. So, Ainsley got to put on a special Birthday Girl Hat and walk around the sun 3.5 times. Then we had cookie cake and juice. This is all a toddler needs to make it a perfect day!
